1. Introduction

Codnatech ("we", "us", "our") operates the FurnitureOnGo mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have regarding your information. This policy also covers the furnitureongo.com website.

By installing or using FurnitureOnGo you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App and do not use our services.

2. Data We Collect

Account information

• Full name, email address, and password (hashed — never stored in plain text)
• Optional: phone number, delivery address

Device & technical data

• Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers
• App version, crash logs, and performance diagnostics
• IP address (used for security checks; not stored long-term)

Camera

• The App requests access to your device camera only when you activate the Augmented Reality (AR) furniture placement feature. Camera data is processed entirely on-device using Google ARCore; no camera images or video are transmitted to our servers.

Usage data

• Products viewed, searches performed, items added to cart or wishlist
• Orders placed, order status, and delivery history

Payment data

• Payments are processed by a third-party payment gateway (PayTabs). We do not store full card numbers, CVV codes, or banking credentials. We only retain a transaction reference ID and status.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Create and manage your account
• Process and fulfil orders
• Provide customer support
• Send transactional emails (order confirmation, password reset)
• Improve app performance, fix bugs, and develop new features
• Detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorised activity
• Comply with applicable UAE laws and regulations

4. Permissions Used by the App

• CAMERA — Required for AR furniture placement. Only activated when you tap "View in AR"; never accessed in the background.
• INTERNET — Required to load the product catalog, images, 3D models, and to process account/order operations.
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — Used to check connectivity before loading AR assets, preventing partial downloads.
• AD_ID (Android) — Lets Google's advertising service read the Android Advertising ID to show ads to people who use the App without signing in (see Section 11). 5. Data Sharing

We share personal data only in the following circumstances:

• Vendors / sellers — To fulfil your order, the relevant vendor (e.g., Danube Home, Isteqbal, ebarza) receives your delivery name and address.
• Payment processor — PayTabs receives billing information to process payments securely.
• Google (advertising) — Only for website visitors and App users who are not signed in: Google receives cookie or device identifiers, the IP address and the page or screen where an ad appears, to show and measure ads (see Section 11). We do not give Google your name, email, phone number, address or orders. • Legal obligation — We may disclose data if required by UAE law, court order, or government authority.
• Business transfer — In the event of a merger or acquisition, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 8). Order records are kept for 5 years as required by UAE commercial law. Anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
• Bcrypt password hashing
• JWT-based authentication with short expiry windows
• Rate limiting and brute-force protection on login endpoints
• HTTP security headers (HSTS, Content-Security-Policy, X-Frame-Options)

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — Request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion — Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Portability — Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Withdraw consent — You can revoke camera permission at any time via your device settings

9. Children's Privacy

FurnitureOnGo is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Third-Party Services

The App and the website use the following third-party components:

• Google ARCore — AR engine; subject to Google's Privacy Policy
• Google AdSense — advertising on the website for visitors who are not signed in (Section 11); subject to Google's Privacy PolicyGoogle AdSense: الإعلانات في الموقع للزوار غير المسجّلين (القسم 11)، وتخضع لسياسة الخصوصية لدى Google.

• PayTabs — Payment processing; subject to PayTabs Privacy Policy

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties.

11. Advertising and Cookies

To keep FurnitureOnGo free to use, we show advertising from Google to people who use the website or the App without signing in. While you are signed in to your FurnitureOnGo account, no ad is requested or shown for you, and a page or App screen you open already signed in does not contact Google's advertising services through us. If you sign in after an ad was shown, the ad is removed at once and no other is requested; Google's code that had already loaded stays in that web page until you leave or reload it (in the App, until the App is closed).

• Where — one ad on the website's home page and one banner on the App's home screen. There are no ads on product pages, the cart, checkout, payment, the AR views, the AI Interior Designer, your profile or your orders.
• Who serves them — Google AdSense (website) and Google AdMob (App). Google and its partners choose the ads; we ask for ads related to furniture, home furnishings and home appliances and block unrelated and sensitive categories, but Google makes the final choice.
• Cookies and identifiers — Google and third-party vendors use cookies (website) and device identifiers (on Android, the Android Advertising ID) to serve ads, to limit how often you see the same ad, to measure ads and to prevent fraud. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites.
• iPhone and iPad — the App shows non-personalized ads only. It does not ask to track you (no App Tracking Transparency prompt) and does not use your advertising identifier (IDFA).
• Europe, the UK and Switzerland — visitors there are asked for their consent through Google's certified consent message before personalized ads are shown, and can change their choice at any time ("Ad privacy choices" in the App, on the Sign-in tab, on Profile and on the home screen; the privacy link of the consent message on the website).
• We do not sell your data. We do not give Google your name, email, phone number, address or orders.

Your choices

• Turn off personalized ads from Google: adssettings.google.com
• How Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
• How Google uses cookies in advertising: policies.google.com/technologies/ads
• Opt out of personalized advertising by many third-party vendors: optout.aboutads.info (United States) and youronlinechoices.eu (Europe)
• On Android: Settings > Google > Ads, to reset or delete your advertising ID.
• Or simply sign in: signed-in customers never see ads.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you via the App or email. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
